  • Why do I have to upgrade my tattletale?

If you have received an email directing you to this site, your currently monitored tattletale needs to be upgraded.

Currently, your tattletale's wireless receiver communicates through AT&T's 2G network.

AT&T Inc. announced that the shutdown of its second-generation, or "2G," wireless network will be complete by the end of 2016. This shutdown will not occur all at once. It will appear sporadically across the country and on January 1, 2017, the 2G wireless network will cease to exist.

  • Will I have to upgrade again soon?

No. Our new network provider has informed us that our current technology will be supported for a minimum of 6-8 years. They anticipate it will be longer, but have given us that range as an absolute minimum.

  • Does the Next Generation tattletale have any new features?

Yes! Everything we have learned in our 18 years of undefeated service has been distilled into the new Next Generation tattletale.

  • Will my current sensors work with my new tattletale?

Yes! As part of this special upgrade program we are including a special receiver in the Next Generation tattletale that will allow you to add all current sensors with ease! Our Customer Success team will be happy to walk you through the process upon activation of your new unit.

  • Will there be any gaps in my security coverage?

No, there will be no gap in your security coverage. Upon purchasing the upgrade we will ship you a brand new Next Generation tattletale ready to be activated and synced with all of your current sensors. Simply switch out the units, and you're all set!

  • How do I trade in my old tattletale?

A paid return shipping label will be provided with your new Next Generation tattletale. Return shipping will be handled by UPS at no cost to you!

  • I have decided to purchase the upgrade that includes the free year of monitoring, but still have remaining coverage. Will this be added to the year?

Yes! Any coverage you have already paid for will be added to the free year.

  • I have decided to purchase the upgrade that includes 10% off of accessories. How do I take advantage of this offer?

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting your order. That email will contain a special promo code that will give you 10% off of all accessories available on this site!
